Oil & Air Source hybrid boiler

My experience of heat pumps is not that good in UK situations.
I have a 6 Kw heat pump equivalent to an 18 Kw boiler to heat my swimming pool.
In cold weather below 10 kw the heat pump will ice up when working and needs to go into reverse to de ice regulsrly.
Below 5 degrees the pump seems to be in reverse mode more than heating and the out put is very poor..
This will vary depending on humidity of course and other people report better results than I have experienced , but talking to other companies, none make any claims that theirs will perform better.
This boiler utilising both heat pumps and oil may be a good combination

We put in a 2 oven Everhot 90+ model when we moved to this house in 2012, and we love it. We had an oil fired Aga at the old house. The Everhot doesn't put out as much room heat as the Aga, but to be honest, that used to be too much. We have a kickspace heater under the kitchen units, that runs off the separate oil fired central heating boiler, but we have never felt the need to used it, and I always say that I won't be cold at any price. Our room thermostats are set at 19 degrees.

The Everhot does everything we want and of course is maintenance free and both the hot plates and ovens are individually controllable. It goes to sleep at night and comes back up to temperature in time for when we get up. Incidentally, our condensing boiler is a Grant. I asked the engineer who used to service our Aga and oil boiler in the old house what make to go for and he recommended Grants.
