Oil Free Compressor?

We've been given this new product which i have not come across before and wondered if any TFFers knew about them/have one.

Has anyone tried them or have one, any advice or opinions as to if they are better or same as normal compressor? any info would be great as we are new to these

We have got a lovely discounted price, but of course any TFF Members that are interested in purchasing one we can do a little discount too.

Unfortunately These are not heavy duty enough and are noisier than a traditional oil “splash lubricated” compressor.

Would be ok for inflating the odd tyre ect.

I recently bought a oil free from a ' friend !'
Obviously s/h
It is noisy and cannot keep up with a airline blower ing dust , which is what I wanted it for.
May look into spares but think i should have stuck with piston pump

They are for specific applications where they cannot accept the risk of oil contamination, eg used in the food industry.

Looks like an oil compressor to me though even looks like its got a sight glass for oil level?

If you google search oil free compressors non of them look like the below, unless you search oil free PISTON compressors. the normal smaller oil free types tend to be low volume where as the below piston type should be better.

Oil free isnt needed though unless its for food or high end paint spraying etc

This is an oil free, we run one in the egg packing room, it’s very quiet and runs several times a morning to run the egg sorter but having only had it 9 months I can’t vouch for its longevity.

searching it would appear you can get pistons types that are oil free. seems odd i know.

The crap onen i have has s piston . Open crank .
It may be a diaphragm i suppose .
U can see a con rod tho.
