Yes it is I show the students this to warn of the dangers of high pressure oil being injected into body. Always use a piece of cardboard to check for pin holes in pipes etc.compressed air injected into you will kill you.

I agree Grumpy is out of line, and it can very dangerous.

When it happened to a friend of mine, he went straight to the local doctor, who made a couple of cuts in his finger, near the base, so that the oil would come out with the blood as soon as possible. (The Casualty is 30 miles away.).

Squirted a small amount of oil under the skin 10/40w whilst spraying a machine for winter service, finger is sore but not unbearable. Question is it worth getting check out tonight and run the risk of spending the night and day in hospital and run the risk of not spending tomorrow with the kids, or risk it till boxing day.

I am intrigued to know what you were using to spray with that would have enough pressure to inject it into your flesh, my oil gun wouldn't I don't think.

well ive went down on a ballingry lass trust me no one has risked more, either disease or instant death is on the cards if you aint up to the job.

When I was a student (many moons ago) I worked for a large swede grower a bit to the north of @grumpy and we sourced many a cutting squad from Ballingry and next door Cardenden.
Always remember one fella turned up one day with an extremely bruised nose. Turned out on questioning, he had gone down on a Ballingry lass and she had bucked mid meal and smashed his nose up:oops::oops::oops:
He never lived it down:D

Friend at college had a great way to solve the problem of Ballingry etc.
He wanted to get a 360 digger and start a trench at the Friarton Bridge and work his way to the Forth Bridge. It'd cut Fife adrift and hey presto, problem solved.:p:p

No need for filling the car up at home when a bottle of vodka and a trip to Amadeus would more than suffice (and attain a better class of lady)
i walked round the back of the tattie lifter to tell the ballingry picker lassies sumit, they were all squatted down having a pish and smoking a fag.
