Evening folks,

rang my dealer for a price on engine oil for the fergy/fendt 10w40 and Jesus Christ I thought he was trying to rape me and my wallet. Poor parts lad had a few effins down the phone and once I gathered my self off the floor I told them I’m ok thanks.
So im wondering if anyone has a place to get oil from to order online, and what is decent quality, I know it’s better to spend than Ruin an engine but to have the price go up by around £150 a drum I thought that they was just having my trousers down and being dry.
anyone who can recommend any where or a contact to ask I would be really grateful as I’ve 2 tractors and a forager to service so won’t be a lot of oil left in the drum after I’ve done.
thanks and hope everyone is managing to keep going in these silly times.
cheers

I just go on what I’ve always had for these two and the forager says 10w40 on the manual for it so thought may aswell carry on but the chopper wants 38l of oil in.

Changed my challenger 855 tonight. Engine took 34 litres and back end took 246 litres. Will be doing the drive wheels and idlers in the morning So that will be another 20 litres. Add that to the engine oil filter two fuel filters and two transmission filters there won’t be much change out of 2k. Glad it was sat all winter full of last years cheap fuel or I’d have a kidney for sale on eBay. What ever you do don’t cheap out on maintenance. False economy.
