Oilseed rape at 1000 euros/ton

Where was the post on some thread on here, saying 1 estate did not sell grain at low prices, instead they just put up more sheds for next harvest ?.

makes me wonder if there sheds are full of grain at today's prices

I've heard of people doing this. I know at least one very canny farmer who has storage for a significant amount of grain but its the cashflow that prevents him holding an entire crop back and over-yearing it.

I hope we don’t get late frosts. OSR looks very promising. Dads just had to go away for a few days after 2 months of relentless pigeon patrol.
