Oilseed rape vigour

Has anyone had any problems with
the vigour of Ambassador and Aquilla ?
Mine had a 100 kilo ha Dap down the spout
but looks limp.
The stuff that did emerge was the slowest I've known
to get going and still looks weak.
Conventional I broadcast a fortnight later on the patches
Is looking like its catching up.
Planted on easy working land with decent indices.

Not heard of problems and we sold a decent amount of Ambassador, not much of Aquila. Both varieties are pretty vigorous in the autumn with Ambassador being the more vigorous of the two in my opinion.

Often can depend on the conditions it has been in, the conventional that went in later may just have been in conditions more conducive to getting good growth quickly.

Thanks for reply .
Stubble was sprayed off a few days before planting.
Planted on the 10-12 Sep .
Two weeks of very dry weather so germination was patchy
and then the dreaded flea beetles .
The plants that we've kept going just haven't moved much
which with the last wet fortnight I was expecting more growth.
The broad cast conventional seed from the beginning of Oct
looks to be making ground on the hybrid.

Natural stubble turnip seed romped away. Dressed OSR seed has been very disappointing. Seemed to be at cotyledon for an eternity despite the warmth and rain. It has 2 true leaves now, where it hasnt been eaten, but this is 6 weeks after drilling. Disappointing.
