Also, a good idea to read the further comments if you are interested as they also contain some tips. But I can assure you, if I am sending, it will be done correctly!
I'll get some photos later. As I've said, maybe some superficial marks but it is a good rifle and has done me well.
Take a picture of the serial number or type it, and can the tell you which Mk it is and what size compression tube, early models have a 25mm tube.I'll get some photos later. As I've said, maybe some superficial marks but it is a good rifle and has done me well.
The photo with the HW77 mark didn't make it but I hope the rest fairly represent condition. No deep scratches and no doubt the rifle could be cleaned up, re-varnished, and metal work re-blued if that was important to you.Take a picture of the serial number or type it, and can the tell you which Mk it is and what size compression tube, early models have a 25mm tube.

any idea on a price you would want for it without the scope including postage , cant find many mk1 to get a comparison priceits a mk1 so will have a 25mm tube
It is really up to you to make an offer. Bear in mind that I don't have to feed it or paint it...and, by the sound of it, it is appreciating in value.any idea on a price you would want for it without the scope including postage , cant find many mk1 to get a comparison price
Yes its a 1984, has the ball bearing release on the underlever.have rechecked the serial number again list i checked had hw97 mixed in but number puts it at around 1984 so a mk 1 25mm if it had been a .177 then rarer than unicorn crap. wouldnt be selling this on so would be a project for myself to restore it then use in competition. theres no real way to check prices or value as most people are hanging on to them , one is listed at the moment a 1988 in very good condition for £210. without the scope i would offer around £150 but open to haggling
It's a tool that gets used, though not so much these days.Yes its a 1984, has the ball bearing release on the underlever.
Agree if it was .177 it would be worth more, looks like its seen some action!
I had a springer for year's.but it was noisy and heavy and took to long to load.been doing a few restoration jobs on air rifles over the last few months and some of these when repaired still deliver quite a punch anyone here still use an old spring rifle to good effect
