Old Astroturf - Filled or Unfilled

Hello farming community,

I work for a company that installs all types of artificial turf within the private and public sector across Scotland and northern/midland England. Currently we lift and replace circa 160,000m2 of artificial turf every year and are always looking at innovative way of preventing the turf for going to landfill as currently there isn't a recognised recycling solution. In the past we worked with certain farmers who have seen benefit in purchasing for extremely reasonable rates either filled or un-filled (sand or sand/rubber mix removed from the carpet) to be used as cattle tracking or for other alternative uses on their estate. In addition, we operate our own lorry logistics and have previously delivered large quantities of said material to farmers who don't have the capability to collect.

I therefore wondered if such a service was of interest to the farming community on this forum. Please feel free to PM me if you would like more information on what we can provide, quantities available and delivery options. We are replacing artificial turf all over the country throughout the year so we can hopefully accommodate a range of requirements across the farming community.

FAO Admins: Apologies in advance is this is breaking any forum rules. I read the websites terms and didn't interpret a post like this to be against your policy but if I'm wrong please contact me.

Thanks for reading.
