Looking for help on finding 4 bolts for an old KV plough. Plough is that old the model and plate aren’t on it anymore. They look to be 14mm and are part of the turn over system. Thanks

I would also say that the bolt have failed because they have come loose. The female threads in the slider might be damaged. Clean them up good and use thread lock when reassembling.Take the front cover off the slider on the bottom of the ram, the pin will then pull out and the slider thing will come off. This will make it much easier to then re-fit it. You will now be able to determine the bolt size. From memory it is M16, length is about 30mm, but you need to measure it really.
This is a 120 headstock, you might find the length in the online parts catalogue. The headstock is definitely on there as I’ve looked at it for our old plough.
Ah thank you very much. Are they a specialised bolt? As they are so rusty I can’t see how strong they are? Or long as I get the size can I just order anything that’s the right size?Take the front cover off the slider on the bottom of the ram, the pin will then pull out and the slider thing will come off. Kverneland dealer will have or be able to source bolts. Off memory they were 10.9 so not normal off the shelf studs and 27mm head. Was a long time since they were a bugger for coming slackAh thank you very much. Are they a specialised bolt? As they are so rusty I can’t see how strong they are? When I had to make a new slider, I just used 8.8 standard bolts. The 27mm head is just to reduce the number of spanners needed to come with the plough.Kverneland dealer will have or be able to source bolts. Have had them shear off in there absolute tw@ to drill and get out. Yeah that long kverneland spanner could get some tension on emWhen I had to make a new slider, I just used 8.8 standard bolts. The 27mm head is just to reduce the number of spanners needed to come with the plough.
10.9s would be better I would say.
