Old Quad Bike - Essex/Herts/Norfolk

I'm after a cheap quad bike, for general smallholding duties. Any make, any model, even Chinese.

I will be wanting to use it on the road, so if it's already registered thats a bonus, but doesn't have to be.

Looking for something over 300cc. Ideally 4x4, but again, doesn't have to be.

Budget is very low, so I'm not expecting much. Top end of my scale is £500.

Happy to buy a non-runner, can be very tatty, just needs to be fairly complete.

The nearer to Stansted Airport the better, but I do travel to Wisbech regularly.

personally i think your more likely to get some hens teeth! most "cheap" bikes i have seen have no serial numbers or look like they have been used for demolition! you will probably need to be spending £800 to get something worthwhile!

I'm happy to go for something that literally requires a rebuild. The sort of condition I'm looking to buy one in, isn't worth £800.

But if someone offers me a fully working, road registered, 4x4 quad slightly over my 'budget', I'd consider it.

I'm in no hurry.

I know there are loads of old farm quads tucked away that haven't run in years, just need to wait until it's in a farmer's way...
