Old type IAE super comfort cubicles

Asking for a friend who has some old type super comfort cubicles (ones with plates on the end) how are they fastened to the rails when having cubicles head to head. Any information or better still photos greatly appreciated.

Bolts. Bolted to the cubicle the opposite side of the rail.

Don’t the cubicles spin on the rail ?

Much prefer the plate type

Bolys right through the 2 end plates if they are on the same rail.
However, depending on bed length, they may be a fraction short. We put a second head rail in, more work, but tidier job , we had the materials anyway as we had purchased a large number of s/h cubicles and rails.

I don’t get what you mean? They’re fixed to a top & bottom rail.
