We live in "interesting times" to put it mildly. I was talking to a chap the other day who used to be a miner and unsurprisingly had voted Labour all his adult life (No doubt his mine had been closed during Maggie's tenure in no. 10) Apparently his father too, had worked in the mines and also been a staunch Labour supporter "But NO WAY am l going to vote for Jeremy Corbyn!" he said. I think that says a lot.

That is a problem for many, a friend life long conservative made identical comment due to Boris et al whom she does not consider conservative.

The claims about how many trees each Party will plant make me laugh. I think it's up to a billion now! Does anyone know where these trees are going to come from and what size they will be? Standards? Saplings? Whip? Or are they just going to plant a billion acorns etc? That wont capture much carbon!

Was told by a forestry company bloke last week that there aren't enough tree plants available to plant the land they have available right now . Several farms sold for planting this year certainly won't be planted next year.

She is what I believe are referred to as a one nation conservative. She described bojo as a parasitic chancer who would lie at the drop of a hat if he felt it would advance his position, definitely not a gentleman. I did agree with her that he has a long recorded history of lying beyond that I personally just dont trust him or his mates.
BoJo is a nothing politically wise... his only real interest or belief, is himself! ?

Fooled by the media? Not as bad as Corbyn, less effective than Trump and or par with Trudeau.
For a government that's decimated business confidence, created uncertainty by indecision and generally making life more difficult purely to suit their agenda and making policy changes with little consulation , transparency or due process their doing great....
If you think that a PMs job is to lead a country and to work in the countries best interest ,then she has failed.
If you think a PM should work in the interest of the UN and its agendas then she is a success...
Contrary to what your media might portray her, I think we as a country deserve better.
