OMG

I think many Canadian people are the same way when questioned about their PM . The posters have almost quoted verbatim my Canadian B-in-L's opinion of him . He still got elected though - make of that what you will
Thankfully its a minority government for this term, hopefully Trudeau and his Libtard party can't do any more damage...

Our area is a Labour stronghold , and has been for ages before which it was almost unanimously liberal . Our sitting MP who is looking for re election is the only one who has leafletted me , Presumably the rest think it will be a lost cause , in fact There is only one putting up against the labour candidate - a conservative , who I have never heard of ! The labour candidate parrots the official line - stop Conservative cuts etc, (why are they always "swingeing ") remove social inequality , free this 'n that , and pushes the line for another (and final !) referendum . He actually voted against acceptance of the last referendum , so I wonder whether he would accept a "wrong " result this time . Best of three perhaps ? I can't really bring myself to trust ANY of the current crop of so called leaders , and I'm fairly certain that the farming industry will be well down their list of priorities , unless of course it's the hot topic these days of greening and re wilding ! Yes , this is my Grumpy old Git afternoon - getting to be more often too .

Hung parliaments could/ should lead to good governance but not on this occasion.
How the hell can you can you believe it would be good in the current circumstances?
A hung parliament almost always leads to de facto government by minority interests - witness the effect of the greens in Holyrood - an effective government requires a working majority somewhere in the teens or twenties so that the executive is forced to take account of its MPS and cannot simply treat them as lobby fodder.
