It's not only the uk that has taken these measures, time will tell to see if they were justified, the only certainty is that captain hindsight will say the government were wrong.

You don’t need hindsight to see the contradictory nature of government policy or the arrogant one rule for us another for you attitude to their own rules. Neither do you need hindsight to identify the litany of broken promises or even Johnson’s wholly dishonest nature. I am sure there are decent people in the Conservative party, it’s time for them to stand up. Although some will still parrot Johnson’s cheap one liners, I can only put that down to stupidity.
