One big shed or two smaller sheds

It all depends what your sites like. You can do a side extension same width as what's already there, our next job is a 45' wide portal.

That's cheaper than a new building, 9 bolt bases, 9 pillars less
but a dreaded valley gutter? I know its all well and good saying it now but they'd have been better putting a 90ft span half the length 1st time then extending it by the gable end.

you can actually go wider with a side extension than existing as a central post wont have as much bending force applied at the top of the station is less due to the weight of the other rafters/roof. <personally I would always spec them the same though.

Nothing wrong with a valley gutter

If he'd built it 90' in first place he'd still have needed a middle wall.

I plan to do a similar situation for a cattle shed basically 2 45ft sheds back to back but instead I will put a 90ft up with a panel wall the length in the middle as I think it will be a better job and less grief than 2 45ft spans? rather than put 120ft length of 45ft wide I will put 60ft * 90wide may look silly but when I extend again will look a massive shed.

I had the same dilemma. In the end, discussed it with @RWG Contracts and I have had no regrets at all. I have loads more height and a building that would be great for other projects should all go tits up in farming. Would make a great Equestrian Centre or ideal for an Industrial building and if @RWG Contracts EVENTUALLY comes up with a decent price I may extend it further this year! ;)

 I've heard that RWG character is completely useless at office work
