This December has seen Shropshire loose one of its most dedicated and skilled operators, Mark Bennion.
One of the good guys and one of my closest friends.

Lost my closest friend in October, far too early, and I presume your friend was no age either.

I knew Mark had been very poorly of late, but had not heard he had died.

Ploughed and drilled, many an acre here...

I'm sorry for the loss of your friend.
I don't really have any friends left, mine seem to have all died way too young. In fact I would avoid even being my friend just in case. I will raise a glass and shed a few tears for them tonight.

He was 60 this summer and it was his second fight against cancer in his life but I thought he had beat it and waiting to be told he was up to visitors or ph calls. I worked at the same farm for a few seasons when I lived in Shropshire and on occasion went back to help him at peak times.

Mark was dedicated to his work and his family, nothing seemed to ruffle his feathers.
