An amazone Avant. Seed and Fert on the front, ph and coulter bar on the back. Its done a lot of work but it seems to be looked after and i think it was at the right money (i hope!!!!!)

No it was advertised in the local paper today. There was a few drills at the sale today (Thainstone machinery sale) but nothing i would have trusted. 2 had electric seed metering and that worries me as things get older.

During this search we have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. Think the most eye opening was a df2. When we went to look at it, it had been clicked off in the mud and nettles after sowing last spring and never washed out. Still had fertilizer in it! on a un-related note i hope no one on here bought the df2 at thainstone today at the end of the sale. Amazing what a wash and a spray of diesel can do to the look of a machine!
What width of Amazone did you get ? Is it a kg Harrow , with quick fit tines?

Amazone avant front hopper. A MF 6495. Hopefully it's man enough. The power harrow looks like a big chunk of metal.
Will be no problem if Harrow set up right , and not pulling excessive soil , we have grain on back and fert on front , and class 630 wouldn't lift it empty , so use a Deutz 150 ,9.2 (ton lift ) and it lifts it fine and works away at 10kph ,
Just checked , the claas lift is 6900 kg and yours Is 7495 , so will be tight lift , will depend on weight of folding mechanism , but could well be similar to my empty hopper ,
A cracking set up , only power Harrow I've used where the gearbox and bed is still cold after a day's work

Its a pity thainstone wont do the same as dingwall mart, Pictures and prices up after the sale. Maybe the dealers wouldnt be happy if folk could look up what they paid for things.

Looks a tidy bit of kit , no problem lifting ?
No problem but it fairly puts the tractor down at the back. Might invest in a new top link to be safe on the road.

Any idea What parts should I look to keep in stock for it any of u Amazone users? The man who had it said some openers beside the discs and maybe a plastic disc or 2 if I'm in stones. Any other advice about rotec discs and the drill greatfully received.
