Online platform for farmers to sell direct to local customers.

Hi all,

I'm currently in the process (with others) of creating an online platform to give farmers a place to sell their goods to local people. It will work based on our own marketing of the specific farms who sign up, and British farming in general, and will be very social media heavy on 'good news stories' to promote British agriculture, eating local and British produce etc etc.

The aim is to increase profitability of farms, and create a stronger outlet for farmers to be able to sell directly to their customers. As well as promotion of Farming in general.

We're in the process of building the app however we would like some further validation from farmers. Both positive and negative. The only survey we've currently got live is on facebook. If you're currently farming in the UK i'd really appreciate you taking the time to fill in the survey. It also extends to butchers and anyone producing British grown products. We're hopeful to be up and running this summer.

You may have to copy and past the link!

If anyone has additional comments, questions etc etc please do be in contact.

Kind regards,

Dave
