For the first since 2002 we have had a clear test over the whole of our holding number! Still got another test to go, but cows will be out with the wildlife and will be back to square one again, not sure if I know what to do if I do go clear
We're about a mile outside of it, but badger numbers we're seeing have dropped over the last 12 months and any red deer we have shot since October seem to be clear too.you had badger culls in your area?
by the next test, guessing most of our big stores will be gone through orange market, but hopefully will have a big bunch of blue calves to sell and would be nice not to have to test every 60 days too.

have gone bloody clear today still can't believe it, now having a clearout but will not sell any cull cows until last, just in case.

We got testing vets and APHA all warned in advance we wanted TB2 lifted asap if/when we tested clear as it was Sat before Xmas and calves that we needed to sell on Tues market as overstocked would start going over 42 days if there was any delay. No way were we paying for a pre-movement test! Test results were done on laptop on farm over a coffee at end of readings, we texted our APHA case vet to make sure she knew we had passed and APHA paperwork arrived next working day! We had 'accidentally' tested a few calves that would be 42d the day before the market too.tried to get TB2 lifted but vets to slow getting it in as have arttic booked for Saturday.
good news @topgroundWent clear here today after 12 months locked down. Must be a good day to be in Somerset.
Hang on, every day is a good day in Somerset!
