That is not the point my dearest Manure man. Starmer attended a 'party' was seen and photographed with a beer in hand. Now I am making presumptions here but to have a beer in hand and be seen chatting and looking relaxed indicates to me he had been at the venue a few moments at least, was not moving off anytime soon, and did not look perturbed as he should when coming across a social gathering during Covid Lockdown rules. No, my shyte spreader his expression should have been one of sheer horror and he should have been been photographed shouting 'stop, disperse, follow the law'. But no he ha da beer in hand and looked totally relaxed with the goings on. You can spread your manure all you like this is all politics and designed to rubbish Johnson. Johnson may be a lieing shyster but this is Al Capone style politics - get him for tax evasion not murder. Like stumping the non batting batsman for stepping out of the crease. But carry on.
Have to say,i usually agree with most of what you write, but not on this one. Muckspreader has got this one right.

What appalls me is the way an office or workplace has been used for a booze up and it seems to have been a regular occurrence. Those premises are funded by the taxpayer for public service not booze ups. Who paid for the booze?
Sorry but it doesn’t look good at any time, never mind a time of national crisis. It would seem that Friday afternoons for them seemed very much like a run down into a party. Most of us have to keep working till 5 and can only party away from the workplace in our own premises at our own expense.
Arrogance, entitlement, self serving, contempt.

I think you would find they work extremely long hours

Makes you wonder about the state of readiness if those in power to make difficult decisions quickly. If they are pee'd by 5pm Friday night, then what happens if things kick off over the weekend. Shambles springs to mind.
I dont think two glasses make you peed, I'm not defending the breaking of the rules by either of them but let's keep it in perspective

I'm so bored of the partygate thing. They all broke the rules. We get it. Boris is going nowhere for now so lets just move on.

The behavior in high office is unquestionably questionable, and they should be held to account but swiftly and proportionately. The more they bang on about it, the more its looking like a hit job.

There are more important things to deal with than this.

A break for something to eat was scheduled in the written agenda, which is quite reasonable in my opinion. What would you have them do, disperse, pick up their curries and go and eat them in their cars or something?

Johnson on the other hand, either has no control over what goes on in his own house or the people or is totally complicit with it all. He basically needs to grow up and become an adult or stand aside and let the grownups take control.

Nice break, beer in hand curries out for a buffet. Yep. All in general accordance with Covid rules at the time. Oh, it was a workplace gathering. Yep Johnson has his faults, and I am the first to say he is a lieing shyster, and have on this forum before, but old Starmer and Labour are playing politics. I await a few more piccies of Starmer and Co, maybe none, maybe some more to come. We will see.

These were the rules

  • Gatherings necessary for certain purposes. The restrictions do not apply to gatherings reasonably necessary for work, provision of voluntary or charitable services, education or training, providing emergency assistance, avoiding injury or illness or escaping harm, providing care or assistance of a vulnerable person or facilitating a house move.

It's the lies that's the issue. Can't have it when he's running the Country
