Opico Harrow not folding up fully

I’m sure there was a thread in this but can’t fund it my opico grass Harrow has sat since last year inside , got it out today to get ready for some grass drilling and when u gold it up it folds up but not the last inch in the ram meaning it’s sitting lop sided. I see there is accumulator thing with a valve u can put air in or something . Any ideas?

Do u just put airline on and pressure it?

yeah, I had similar problem in that it wouldn’t fold out after sitting a long time. Pumped it up and away it went. Was either 2bar or psi. Big difference I know was stamped on the bottle or near it

Cheers I will have a loon tomorrow dud notice there was a sticker near the accumulator but all scratched and faded can’t make head not tail. Mine folds down just not fully up

I’m still having problems with this I folded machine down as stated on bottle then put 8 bar in says 8-10 bar max and now when I fold up it’s actually worse folding up less than it did before

how much was in it before, try emptying it?

Air bottle thing is to open it- ram folds it. Is the latch sticking?

Could there be a wee bit of oil in the air side of the ram? Try taking the valve out before folding it up and see what happens.

Isn't it supposed to lock in the folded up position.
I thought they had to have a latch to be allowed to go on the road.

Maybe yours is the very old one that locks manually with a chain link.

Has a tap on the ram for locking

I just dumped my bottle and put a pipe on straight to spools

Couldn’t get contractors rake to fold up properly here. Oil had gone past the seal and stopped Single acting ram retracting properly. Remove grease nipple and oil out. Folded up perfectly. Every days a school day!
