Opico hatzenbichler 16 grass harrow

Got a opico hatzenbichler 16 with electronic control box. Was sowing and it suddenly through out heaps of grass seed in a strip. Cant get the motor to go now and priced one from local opico dealer and they said £1500 for it but said it's not a common thing to go. Seems an extortionate price but wandered if any one else has had this problem in case I'm missing anything? Thanks

Are you sure it’s the motor gone? Try taking brushes out and see if that helps. Otherwise perhaps try David king electronics as he’d likely have a fix or a cheaper motor than that. Only used one briefly but bought another brand with rds metering. Sometimes brushes need tweaking but otherwise reliable

I was under the impression that this was a fairly common problem with them.
Certainly been a few threads about it before.

Think this was said to be the same thing by someone on here in the past

Opico part prices have always been ridiculous but sound like they have taken things to another level at £1500 for that.
