OPICO is looking for an organised, confident and capable marketing professional to work in our marketing team across all our brands. The applicant must have a strong practical understanding of the farming year and types of agriculture in the UK. The applicant will put this agricultural knowledge into practice through their robust written English. The role will involve writing, collating and reviewing marketing brochures, flyers, web content and other marketing collateral to achieve consistency of message across all communication channels. A high standard of accuracy is expected. The role is office based and the ideal candidate will live within a 20 miles radius of Bourne, Lincolnshire.

Responsibilities
Working within the marketing team and reporting to the Marketing Manager your key responsibilities will initially include:
  • Written marketing communications – brochures, flyers, pricelists, e-shots across all brands
  • Web content
  • Data management for marketing activity
  • Media booking
However, we’d also expect you to be willing to turn your hand to anything within the marketing remit that helps the team deliver its objectives

About you
Naturally you’ll be personable, extremely well organised with a flair for detail, but on top of that, we’d like you to:

· Have a strong understanding of the farming year and challenges faced by farmers in the UK
· Have strong communication skills – verbal and written.
· Have a marketing qualification or to have worked in a marketing led role.
· Be enthusiastic, curious, and proactive – an interest in agricultural machinery would be an advantage.
· Have experience of using a web content management system
· Have experience of using a CRM system
· Be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Word) A working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop would be an advantage.
· Be a team player with a genuine desire to help and support team members so that we can all achieve our best
