Does anybody have experience of using Opico Nitrojet liquid fert sprayer when planting OSR?
Also does anyone know where there might be one for sale second hand?
Thanks

Thanks. I want to mount one on a sumo trio for planting OSR. Is that what you've used it for? Which liquid fert have you used? At what rate? I'm hoping someone has one tucked away in the back of a shed that they no longer use and haven't got round to selling yet!

Yes that’s what I’ve used it for. I use Omex 14-14 through it at various rates. My jets shoot it down the back of the leg as the ground opens up slightly (tilso ultralites) into the rooting zone. I got mine at a decent price but I just fell lucky. Like I say with spares prices, I’m not looking forward to any breakdown with it.

Thanks for your reply - it's helpful to hear what you do. My trio is mounted, with auto reset legs. Yours looks like auto reset as well, are your nozzle outlets actually mounted on the leg itself? Is there no issue with the outlet or hose when the leg lifts to reset? I was going to take out the discs and mount the jets on a bar behind the leg and the seed outlets a foot or so behind that.

Hi Could you help once more please? I've bought a 2nd hand Chafer Quickstart, same theory as the opico. Are your nozzles mounted directly on the back of your legs? Do you get any issue when the leg auto-resets? Do the Tillso ultralites do a good job and do they fit straight onto your trio? Thanks
