Been doing that spacing since 2017, obviously variety’s change but my yields are up on my old system

We drill ours at 400mm spacing which seems to work well .

Not grown it for 5 years, decided to try it this year. It had chicken manure spread on at same time, so hopefully that should give it a boost and get away.

Our agronomist said seeds per square metre more critical than row width. I'm sowing it at 1.3kg acre. Just broadcast from spread plates.

Aiming for 30 plants per square meter in the spring
