Orbeseal Vs generic equivs

Has anybody noticed a difference between orbeseal and the copies like ubroseal etc, another forum member on here questioned it with vet and has gone back to orbeseal as it was thicker and more product which seem important traits when buying a product to block teat canals.

No, we've used several over the years as the vets always seem to have a different one and haven't noticed any difference in any of them. (yet!)

Noroseal works better than orbeseal, as there is less air in the tube.

Is it noticeable less air?
Can soon lose a lot of sealant trying to get the air out

If you stand the tube on its end for a few hours before hand.

The air will disappear.

It works,go and try it.I always ues orbeseal.

It all come down to hygiene. The best tube wont cover crap craftsmanship. The worst tube will seal in siht.

Had several kiwis tell me they split Tubes every Year. I don’t get why it’s so expensive.

Absolutely 100% key to me not to get any mishaps with sealant.

Tried and tested orbeseal it works here.

Even saving £1 a cow, just one case of mastitis that leads to AB usage has a significant cost to the business.

Used a few orbeseal recently for the first in a long time. Had been using cepralock, boviseal and noroseal this year, whatever was in stock at the time. The amount of air in the orbeseal was noticeable. Is it like that for a reason? Never noticed a difference between any of the sealer brands.

Cepralock very runny / watery compared to Orbeseal, may work just as well but does,nt fill me with confidence
