my part time helper came in today after a coupla days off with orf on her finger.....she's a bit 'holistic'....i've told her she must go to docs on monday but should i march her off to A&E tommoz?....i think it might be going up her arm

she didn't tell me but she was 'bitten' by orfy orphan 2 weeks ago .....we have disposable gloves

Yes if it has tracked up her arm and is itchy/tender/red then she may need antibiotics for a secondary infection.

It can get very nasty if it goes wrong - better be safe than sorry. @Mrs Y B had it some years ago.

There was a thread in here, not long ago, with all the gory pics, if K needs any more convincing

A&E quicksmart if there’s signs of infection up the arm, could turn into sepsis, which is bad.

Been a thread on this already, the pictures were very interesting to me.... If that doesn't motivate one to seek medical advice I don't know what would.

Go to A and E, not a minor injuries unit and take a bottle/box and advice leaflet of the product in question. Don't be surprised if they have no experience of it.
