Purple in WOSR usually brings my mind to P deficiency (either actual shortage of P in soil or inability of the roots to get it).

Inability can be P lockup or compaction but compaction usually will have small stunted plants but your plants look a fine size.
Low soil temperature can lower P availability but I doubt if this is the case.

Random purple plants can be Turnip Yellows Virus but these don’t look overly random.

First picture I think could be TuYV the second phosphate but both could be a deficiency of P and N

Second pic just looks like osr once it starts to get colder and wetter.

Where there is N overlap no deficiency showing but I agree it is most probably lack/unattainable P. Would a foliar application be worthwhile in November? Or wait to spring?

Both varieties Aspire and Annika are TuYv resistant so unless it’s volunteer OSR it’s deficiency.

I doubt a foliar will be economic. If you're going through with the sprayer you could cheer yourself up with some muck & magic but I doubt there is any need and come some warm spring weather and some fert it will zoom away.

NB quality of my advice questionable due to all my osr now being second wheat.....nice looking second wheat though.

if the real purple (almost pink) ones are the oldest leaves I would say N, the lighter purple ones could be P. Soils getting colder now so could either add some foliar phosphate now if going through or wait until early spring.

However I will add that if applying anything this time of year for me would go down the Brassitrel Pro route, combination of B, Ca, Mg, Mn and Mo with some N. I think you would get more bang for your buck! 3.0 lt/ha applied with fungicide/kerb and then again prior to stem extension would be my rec

Wait until spring. You would be unlikely to see a margin over input costs from applying anything now. Your photo shows a crop most would be proud of.

Buy a can of Brassitrel multi mineral feed and try a tramline trial to satisfy your (and our) curiosity.

Do you grow barley? Now there’s a crop that can look sick in winter but recover to yield well!
