Was brillaint to capture the same field being sown and harvested on the outfarm at Carsehall Farms. Sown on the 1st of September 2023 was a blend of Ambassador & PT303 OSR with companion seed on this block of ground. Carsehall Farm sowing this OSR with the Valtra T214 on the Erth 4 toolbar with the Kverneland MSC drill and Vaderstad Rapid coulters. From the day it was drilled to the day it was harvested it spent 342 days in the ground through a harsh and tough winter let along spring time when it should be soaking up the sunshine.Harvested on the 8th of August with the New Holland CS660 working her way through the crop to give a yield fo 1.85 tonnes to the acre at 13% given the circumstances. The straw on this field wasnt chopped and will be baled for the dairy cattle.#arimagery #farming #agriculture #farmlife
