They must be getting really hungry here, can't keep them away.
They have been all over my stubbles hoovered up a lot of the barley headsPigeons all over the place. No osr though. Never seen so many - putting it down to no shoots this year.
Sumoed into SB stubble first weekend in October , looks pretty good as long as the pigeons keep off, pic was 3weeks ago, got 5” of snow on it atmLater drilled too? I’m convinced OSR needs drilling direct after winter barley otherwise forget it.

Got 90ac that was sown a lot earlier after WB that is like cabbages, the pigeons have had a go at 1 of the fields but won't do it much harm as it was too good anywayThat looks really well.
Hopefully I will have that many pigeon shooters today that I will have to devise a plan to make sure they are all socially distant
ours still in need of some dry air and a gentle breeze been roundupped 13days , similar thoughts ,should have sold some a month ago as harvest as available is down a lump ( but history tells me not to sell before its in the shed)and we will need the space so what to do, 1 sell when cut, 2hold while next spring and sell something else or 3sell it and buy a similar quantity of may futures or4 put it into store and sell post xmas , who knows,im favoring sell and buy futures .Anybody else got a viewWell it made it to harvest, trailer count has it at around 4 to 4.5t/ha well happy. (Just wish I hadn't sold it all before the price rocketed )
The beauty of UOS is you can sell acreage rather than tonnage, no idea which way prices are going so good luck, whatever you do.ours still in need of some dry air and a gentle breeze been roundupped 13days , similar thoughts ,should have sold some a month ago as harvest as available is down a lump ( but history tells me not to sell before its in the shed)and we will need the space so what to do, 1 sell when cut, 2hold while next spring and sell something else or 3sell it and buy a similar quantity of may futures or4 put it into store and sell post xmas , who knows,im favoring sell and buy futures .Anybody else got a view
