A good start helps! Too many hp here but a decent seedbed. With the weather forecast as it is, this won’t get rolled but it will get starter DAP.
 
Just wanted to get something down and the top is a bit wet to subsoil it in plus it’s too sloppy for any kind of torque on wheels. It’s dry underneath though. I want to keep osr going in well and early(!) as we will be busy enough over the weekend and next week given a better forecast.

Makes perfect sense then!

That is pretty much what I did last year. In the last field but one, it pee’d down with rain so had to stop. It all looked fantastic till the end of November. Then lost 85% of it. The 15% left yielded less that 1/2tonne/ha.

where have you found this better forecast,its apparently going to p down all night north of york south of newcastle ,the forecast ive looked at has a few hours of 100% which is going to put the kybosh on anything till after the weekend and problaby mon/tue by the look of it but live in hope
