OSR - up and away?

Having not heard much from the OSR growers, do we assume they managed to get it up and away this autumn?

There’s normally a heap of photos here of cotyledons with holes in, but it’s all very quiet this year.

There are a couple of recent threads about it so check those (one called something like OSR Survival Strategy and another Flea Beetle 2020). Various photos on there of CSFB damage. It would seem that currently there are various OSR crops being attacked by flea beetle, ours included. It was drilled in the last week of August. Too early to say whether it will make it or not.
From what I can gather crops drilled in the first half of August or earlier seem to have generally got away quite well however.

Mid August sown osr is looking good with minimal slug and beetle damage so far. What has emerged in the last 3 weeks is having more CSFB grazing issues, especially where sown into bare soil and struggling with poor seedbeds or capping.
