The monarchy is near the end , Charles , who imo is a total git should abdicate and give the job to
Princess Anne
Amended that for you .....

Think you may find the monarchy will still be there when we are all dead & buried, the British love their heritage & history when the chips are down.

The best thing for the monarchy as an institution would be for Charles' whole bloodline to be wiped out and for Anne to get the job instead. Charlie boy has the IQ of a cabbage, the common sense of a lemming, and is easily led by loons and zealots. His kids ain't any better.

Not true actually, except of course in Harry's case which is hardly Charlie's fault!

Blame James Hewitt for Harry :ROFLMAO:

Charlie, Harry, William. All thick as two short planks, and they've forgotten the one thing that has kept Her Maj in such high regard for so long - keeping their noses out of politics and contentious issues.

Not sure what's happened to replies as above is attributing your statements to me?
This was my only reply -
"Not true actually, except of course in Harry's case which is hardly Charlie's fault!"

Seems the situation since her husbands death is having a huge effect on her health

Would be preferable if the monarchy was abolished and the UK became a republic, it's an outdated institution.

Is there anything other than the Monarchy to attract tourists to the UK?
As the royal family don't meet and greet every tourist i'd say yes. They're part of our history but the castles, the big houses and the scenery will be there long after they're gone. If there's a royal family fine if not that's fine too.

And what do people go to paris for ? Oh yes its history, france gets more tourists because of its weather, whether summer or winter, the day we become a republic and vote for a president will be the end of a great country. Can you just imagine president blair, saville, Burnham, farage bruce Forsyth, monbiot etc
