Are they making any money? All very well showing 9 kids and happy family life for the cameras. I doubt whether they make enough to keep the business afloat, the rent, diesel bill, bills and 9 kids to feed. Over £6k in family allowance, single farm payment may make some help but without the books and the cameras that lifestyle is not affordable - I guess at some point there would of had to of been a lot of benefits. With this in mind I'm kind of at the crossroads whether it does paint a realistic farming programme as farmer agrees he'd like to show them opening the farm accounts and viewing bank account.

All typical C5 happiness.

That’s quite a cynical view on it .
Like many farmers they’ve diversified to help pay the bills in there case it’s TV and books public speaking. Also they have a Shepherds hut and they do teas etc for walkers .
I’ve said it before on here this isn’t the 1st time they been on tv

Money is not everything.
That is what the CAP is designed to protect.
Some people would prefer if they were cleared off and trees planted
