Sad that it's the only one left. Is there much stock going though it?
Yea it is when there used to be a weekly pig sale in most towns years ago. It’s not a bad sale but not massive, maybe 150 or 200 weaner/stores and maybe 25 fat sows. Draperstown isn’t the most central place, we could do with a sale down this end of the country but nome of the marts seem to be willing to give it a go

Pig job seems very much in the hands of the big boys unfortunately .

I will have to take a run up when all these restrictions are lifted. Havnt been to a pig sale since I was a wee buck! What money does a weaner make these days?

If you buy the Farm Week paper they put an add in it every week and the date for the pig sale will be on it. I’m not sure what price they are now. The last stores I bought was in April. They were 24kg and £50 but they were to expensive at that imo. They were good quality stock, duroc cross
