Only on a farming forum can a thread go from economy and low BIK to two posters trying to out trump each other on their Maserati’s and jag XK8’s..... I think the Ferrari FF may our trump the jag xk8!
The Jag would be 21 years old by now.

If you want a reasonably cheap car to run, buy a three to five year old low mileage car or SUV. That’s what my last car is and I saved £14k compared to buying an identical new one while upgrading the spec. This included a further three year manufacturer’s warranty to 90,000 miles/six years age. 45 to 50 mpg on a run and 43 average from a diesel 4wd 9 speed automatic. I like it nearly as much as the Volvo.

You know me well James! Clive gives me discounted advert rates to be entertaining and obnoxious! Ps, have you ordered that sprayer yet?

Well, @Robt, if you ever make fun of me about being indecisive. I haven't followed this closely, but it feels to me as if there's always a new 'What car for (Mrs) Rob?' on the go! :p

We have a saying in Scotland...

He who hingeth aboot, geteth hee-haw.

It makes no sense, but I like quoting it when people question my impulsiveness. :p

Sadly duck, as it’s for me, BIK is based on cars retail when new and emissions
