Outlook Problems

I have been using Outlook for years and have never had an issue with it. However I changed my email password (BT) and outlook failed to open on any of my computers.
I have looked up various fixes which include running it in safe mode and removing add ons. I couldn't get it to open even in safe mode. I believe it is something to with the Office 365 set up which has a newer version of outlook, but it won't accept my email.

Anyone know how to solve this issue?

Been a while since I used Outlook. Check to see if your BT mail requires authentication, the website will have this info, then check the settings in Outlook to make sure it is or isn't providing authentication as required.

If you are on Office 365 you can download a Microsoft "Support and Recovery Assistant" It has just sorted an Outlook problem for me this weekend, but I don't know what it can do for emails.

Have you tried opening Outlook in Safe Mode?

Right-click the Start button, and click Run.
Type Outlook.exe /safe, and click OK.
