Outside slatted tanks and cubicles

I am interested in learning more about outside slatted tanks and cubicle sheds and wondered if anyone on here has any? How do they work in wet and windy weather and what is the best way to shelter them? Can they work in high rainfall areas such as the West of Scotland or Ireland? Any pictures would be appreciated.

By the time you pay for the tanks and cubicles,considering the extra storage for rainwater the cost of a roof would be pretty insignificant.
