Outstanding money please RPA

Being paid a previously agreed rate for an agreed job by an agreed date should be a given in the first world.
Your lack of sympathy for your fellow (probably less well off ) man does not reflect well upon you IMO.
that maybe so but perhaps people should consider who they vent their anger/bitterness at before posting. Just because somebody else has got their benefits before you does not give you the right to have a go at them its not their fault.

christ there is some rubbish written on here by white middle class men with an entitlement addiction:mad:
It was never ment to be a point to be taken too seriously , more a point money that should be sat aside , and as far as I am conserned is , seems to disappear when the time comes calling.

I take it you have been paid what your owed on time for the last few years , we haven’t , it has caused us too sell corn etc when we didn’t want too , we are down many thousands by doing so due too big pride rises so please excuse my little light hearted rant , I know there are some worse off than ourselves but when x£££££,s comes in I will be grateful but I dare say it will be spent on repairing roads instead

I appredicted but would not share the insinuation - simply put I pay what I owe people - and I expect in a country like the UK that the govt can pay it' dues - i only. Claim on 1/2 the land I farm - and on that land I comply wother a set of onerous and restrictive rules - the money compensates me for that - i worked out I could earn 30 more per ac without bps if I broke the rules - I'd also ruin the local environment. I' think the pay is fair compensation

I've quite often been guilty of such, lazy farmer, most usually in the cropping forum.

Nevertheless, my 2017 claim, having been paid, but 20% or so short due to clear and obvious transposition errors at the RPA, is now subject to a Payment Query dated 28 December 2017.

Are you suggesting that I should now withdraw this?

I note other 2016 payment queries I submitted are steadily being paid so assume someone in RPA is working through the 2016 query forms. Have submitted the 2017 query form and do not expect any response until 2019 as that seems the RPA timescale on these things. Hey ho. Digital age and all that.

I thought this incredible when first you posted it, Hindsight.

However, upon my chaser this week on two 2017 query forms, I was sympathetically advised that most of the team are still on 2016, apart from a few still stuck on the more tricky 2015 queries.

No response until 2019 can be managed in terms of cashflow, which is under my control but, sadly, the withdrawal of entitlements due to them erroneously being claimed as not used in 2017 is not.

Got a snotty letter yesterday telling me to make sure that I get our mid tier form back in by June 15th, else there will be dire consequences.
They haven't sent me the agreement yet!
Me too...have you contacted them to ask what to do? Should we put in a claim regardless, but without any agreement number?

I am involved with several claims. On 2 claims the 2017 claim has been altered by someone at the RPA, on 1 claim the error was for about a third of the total amount. I find this absolutely unacceptable that a submitted claim can be altered without my knowledge or permission and I am unable to find out what has happened and at what stage the late payment is.
Know the feeling! still try to get the RPA to accept it was their error and submitted evidence.
What's worse they claim that I've overclaimed! Oh well, off goes another email.
