In my experience it’s still fine.have emptied out deter dressed barley and wheat that’s one and 2 years old and it’s grown absolutly fine.if it’s dry it should be ok.id have no fear planting it

I have just over a ton left over from last year and had it tested early September and it came back at 95% germination,so I was happy with that. It's still in the bag now and I'm wondering if it will be any good next year!

I got what I thought was a good deal on overyeared wheat seed dressed with Jocky in oct 2017. sown as a second wheat in oct 17. germination was poor and vigour was bloody awful = 30acres of crap yield harvest 2018
few years ago I could clearly see the block in the field where we drilled a part bag of old seed, Jockey dressed Diego in the middle of a field of new seed Diego, it was obvious from emergence to harverst. Germination wasn't too bad but the vigour was much poorer, growth rate was slower with significantly poor tillering, reduced final plant height and reduced leaf area. Would the same stored seed without having the Jockey dressing performed any better I don't know.

We have had trouble with jockey dressing in the past, only had trouble with latitude if the wheat was high moisture before it was dressed, the drier the better for keeping it over.

I think it was the Jocky that was the problem in our case

Keep it cool and dry. Send it away for professional testing next summer and expect to see the germination % drop 10-25% then adjust seed rates accordingly. Latitude is not one of the better seed dressings for this.
Germination is only half the story though... we dont know the full impact on vigour until its too late to bite the bullet and dump the seed.

I remember years ago we drilled some over yeared alchemy which had been treated with baytan(baytan slowed up emergence when fresh) the wheat was a good fortnight longer coming up but it all seemed to be there in end and just as think.
