Overalls

Morning,

looking at buying a bulk quantity of overalls of various sizes, ideally with decent sized reflective bands on ankles, cuffs and shoulders.

not very interested in branded ones, unless price and quality is good.

what do others do?

any pointers gratefully received.

Tell them to buy there own.

They'll moan they are wrong sizes if you buy them.

I do think the orange jackets, body warmers with reflective strips are a good idea for visibility.

Guess in covid times nobody would be keen to let different people try on different sizes to get correct size.

Kübler make overalls branded as Delaval and they are brilliant quality, won’t be the cheapest though.

Oh I know, did that with the mechanic already

felt like a 3rd rate personal shopper after an unsuccessful campaign t try and buy flameproof overalls in a size that appears to be precisely half way between medium and large.

Reckon it would’ve been easier making porridge for Goldilocks

Proper workwear- Engelbert Strauss do whatever colour or size you want and will personalise it with your company name/logo if needed. You can have matching jackets, bib and brace, hats etc if you want. The overalls you buy from dickies or a tractor dealership are pretty low spec.

I buy a lot of stuff from there, and the longevity is excellent. I’ve a pair of their red and black boot socks that I bought in 2007 still part of the frontline.

I’ve a green and black version of that boiler suit, and I think I’ll have it forever, but I find it a bit too thick and unwieldy for spending too long driving or for wearing on warm days.

Agree, it is hard wearing kit, but I find the fabric the overalls are made out of particularly dense, which is great for longevity and cold weather but can be too hot if spending time driving or when the weather warms up.

Use bib and brace instead? Not as much to 'wear'?

They do several kinds of overall, I am not sure which is the lightest/heaviest.

Wearing these at the moment, nice enough fit, but pockets are to shallow and lose things out
