overalls

What's everyone using for workshop/general farm overalls now?
Dickies have stopped doing the ones with the poppers, the zip ones don't last 5 minutes.
I bought a pair of kramp overalls, right size in the top, but legs 5" too long........plus I reckon they will be hot during the summer time

What else (unbranded) is around?
i know you said unbranded but the claas overalls are great and less than the dickies zipper ones

I have two pairs of valtra ones.
One pair are made by Dimex, heavier ideal for winter.
Other lighter pair came with tractor in 2012,still going strong, had a few new zips. The brand label has been washed clean.

Always like to try a pair on to see how they feel given days , months, year in them, which you can'tdo with Internet stuff.....can you?.

I have several pairs of Gryzko overalls. I've got some thinner ones for general use and a thick, flame retardant pair for welding. They are about £25/pair new, but I've got a few second hand (ex-factory) pairs as well.

I find HT Hughes Agrii overalls a good fit and quite hard wearing….. apart from the zips. Might be ok for the arable farmers amongst us, but every bit of shite & sawdust that gets into them buggers them quickly ime.

In the absence of spending on new tractors regularly, I’ve resigned myself to buying from HT Hughes and throwing them out when the zips fail.:(

Im always on the lookout for a tall boilersuit with a long back not necessarily long legs that won't give me a wedgie when kneeling or pulling on shoulders. Also don't want an xxl that would take 2 of me.
Panoply seem to have a long back, I couldn't wear them 'cause I'm a short arse and the elastic at the back ended up too low.

Anyone managed to find one that has decent zippers? I always break the zippers and I really don't like hassling my mother to replace them.
I have found the YKK zips good, although I understand that they have different ranges so some maybe not so good.
Claas use them on their boiler suits so that's why I wear Claas !
Although Claas have changed the design a year plus ago and IMO not as good a fit. Sleeves too long, poppers on sleeves smaller and harder to fasten. Also seem to be heavier which is not so good for summer.

I just got a pair of the H T Hughes one yesterday and all i can say is i must be alot slimmer than the average!:angelic:

I ordered XL as the chest size is 46-48 (im a 45 and dont want them too tight). Tried them on last night and they fit fine on the shoulders but you could get two of me in the legs and waist!:playful: I think if i wore themout in the wind today i would be gone!

They have said they will swap them so no complaints with the company, just wish they could give a better idea on measurements with these things.

Hughes are generous on there sizing for sure , I take a small and they are really medium sized i would say with longer legs then I need

The Hughes stuff is pretty good though and they will for an additional fee change cuffs for elasticated ones and i would assume shorten legs etc they are very good to deal with in my opinion

I was talking to some one the other week ho had to source a 7 x XL coat for some one !!!! can you imaging how big that must have been farmers are getting BIGGER !!!
