What's everyone using for workshop/general farm overalls now?
Dickies have stopped doing the ones with the poppers, the zip ones don't last 5 minutes.
I bought a pair of kramp overalls, right size in the top, but legs 5" too long........plus I reckon they will be hot during the summer time

What else (unbranded) is around?

When did they stop the poppers👹

I usually have to order tall versions and will be interested to hear of the best replacement boilersuits available
I've checked our local ag supplier, nothing there......also online -e-bay etc......looking for 52T size.

I find that it needs to try them on, the sizes vary so much....rather than just a "XXL" ....the variations can be vast across the makes

Engelbert Strauss. Twice the product compared to something you will buy in MVF, dickies etc. Be careful which range you buy from as some have thicker material than others. Some are also designed for cold weather and will be too much for average UK winters.

I did look at some of those online, the leg lengths show as only R (regular).....and only to 46 so not sure they will work

I buy claas, have to get the mother in law to shorten the legs a little bit decent enough. They soon melt if you do much welding or grinding tho

Have Claas ones here they’re good and not dear although they’re the old Claas ones, have one pair of the new ones which I’m not as keen on, the sleeves can’t be kept as tight or neat as the old ones

Portwest. Cotton not nylon so more sparkproof. Their Bizweld ones are quite heavy, great in the workshop in winter. They also do a lighter one, good in summer, think they're called Dubai or something like that. Usually between £20 and £30 online.

One biggie for me the top pockets are zip so either my phone or folding money does fall out

Zips here every time. Not sure why but zips definitely last longer if you do them up before sticking them in the washing machine.

Trying a set of Site from Screwfix since Dickies stopped manufacturing. Sized strangely but I guessed right the first time and they fit well and seem to wear every bit as well as Dickies. Early days though

HT Hughes work wear make good overalls and work trousers they make some for various retailers . Search Google
They used to make class overalls but in said class wanted a german maker to make them to keep it all german . I bought some of what they said were as near as dammit the same as class but no way the same , they are thicker so now going back to class ones even though they are german .

For in the workshop in winter I have Wenaas FR overalls. They are good quality and very thick so wouldn’t want them in summer. And very cheap if you are lucky. I got them brand new on eBay for 25 quid. Only down side is the colours. Either blue or bright red.
