Have been in contact with openreach Executive complaints.
It goes OH yes OH Yes NO.
It is now uneconomic to finish the final bits of install so cant get connected, mind you they have admitted that the fibre is all ready in the box 9Mtrs from my farmhouse its just that they have now got to mole it 390Mtrs from my house to connect it to a pole then mole it back down the same line 490Mtrs to the house via the box it starts in and then 9mtrs up the duct (already installed) to farm house. (some of the ducting already in place.)
As I said to the executive complaints lady you just cant make it up or make it more difficult.
I am today getting Fibre installed to another site email at 6;56am with engineers name and number text him at 9:30 asking if he had a more accurate time of arrival reply I am not coming to do your's. Phone call at 10am another man saying I will be with you in 20 mins. He is here up the ladder fixing Fibre to side of house. watch this space.

The OR engineer appeared on the afternoon of the 1st and strung up 120m of cable between the last pole and the cottage, going via the corner of the big house, and left it coiled up on the eave. On Friday, by appointment, another engineer came to install it. He had some difficulty and had to call a colleague to come and help. It turned out that one of the 4 ports on the pole was faulty and of course the engineer on the 1st had chosen that one. He had tested it as well. Anyway, took from 11am to 4 pm to get it all done. Now we have this:
