Overlaying concrete

Got a area of concrete, which is structurally sound. But poor surface with areas that hold some water.
We were wanting to tip grain on it which would mean we would leave some behind in the low areas. (Too many to patch up with anything by hand)
Has anyone ever laid more concrete on top and laid with one of the laser leving machines and powerfloated.

If so what thickness would be the minimum. Was hoping for less than 100mm. But unsure if I should even risk that thin.
Thanks

We layed new concrete in our grain store years ago. Got a bad frost that night and top of it all lifted. Good pressure wash then layed another 2in on top. It's still there and ok in our grain store and it's crimp barley.

Would be worth investigating an exterior levelling screed. I suspect they wouldn't have enough robustness to stand up to grain and the buckets but would be worth a few phonecalls. A company like sika probably do something.

For overlaying concrete you might get away with 75mm. Ideally get a bond to the underlying concrete (look up cold joints preparation) and use fibres in the new stuff.
