Have a option to overseed a couple of paddocks which were poor before it turned dry and would like to give them a kick start, looking at cockfoot and plantain which have put in with a Opico airseeder in previous years, have got option of a Moore drill or a Wox, would these be better or just stick with the Opico. PH 6 and P+K are 4.

Wox. Broadcast seeds will out yield drilled, so long as you get more rain after sowing. If no more rain forecast then drill if you must but then with the forecast supposedly being really hot by the end of the week it may be too dry to even drill.

Have you any evidence broadcast will out-yield drilled grass seed? I have never heard tell of that before? Drilled I would say actually establishes faster, but grass harrow and box is superior because it gets put in more shallow and the distribution of seed is better.

I've seen it work well with the T Sem/Aichison but in these hard(?) conditions check it closes the slots properly, might want a roll or something afterwards.
I beg to differ - slot needs to remain open IMHO. In those conditions I (as a Duncan drill owner) would say a disc drill would do a better job as the slot will just collapse and bury the seed.

Slug runway if you aren't careful!
I accept that is a risk but the whole concept of a tee boot drill is to create a chamber that is moist and humid - germination is incredibly quick in these conditions. If the slot collapses most of the seed will never make it to the surface.
We leave drilling to dry for 24 hours before rolling so that the lips dry and contract so that when rolled, they dont seal, they leave a small air gap for the seedling to emerge through.
