So OVO took over our SSE account, unbeknown to me, last August.

they still dont have a FIT's portal the public can log in and check 'but are working on it'.

they cocked up the FIT id and meter numbers on our accounts, then proceeded to estimated the readings which were 10'000 out.

6 weeks later i am waiting for the 'back office' to sort it out. They offered me a special link to request all the info they have on me. thats a month to wait for feedback too!

have a FIT with EON too who have been superb so far. i think EON can take over from OVO, any advice on this?

OVO are totally useless & best avoided all they do is rip 'customers' off by what ever means they can. They can best be discribed as scammers.

Eon are a bunch of arse***** to deal with, I had a six month worth of problems where they claimed I hadn't paid them, although clearly it was there on my bank statement.

Lost count of the times they promised to ring back, and then eventually the said owed amount stopped appearing on the invoices, they still didn't let me know they were wrong and the money had been found.

Like too many companies all the calls are routed abroad.

We changed from Good Energy (who were taking 10 weeks plus to pay) to EDF about a year ago. EDF pay in around a week.

Unbeknownst to me previously, there are two lists of FIT providers. One list can take weeks to pay and the other list are "mandatory" so have to pay sharpish.

I have no complaints about EDF so might be worth a try?

More details about the two lists here;

FIT providers are entitled to charge I believe 1% if paying early. I think some do and some don’t
