I guess he is just rolling the dice/clutching at straws to clear his name. But no sense of shame/irony is there?
Must admit I thought us Brits no longer had recourse to ECHR but there.

The ECHR is nothing to do with the EU - a point often conveniently ignored by Brexiters who purposefully (?!) conflate the word European in the title acronym with EU for blatant political anti EU point scoring. 46 individual states in Europe (including all 27 of the EU) are signatories to the Treaty. One state wishes to leave. That state is the UK. Quite sad and disturbing that. Patel, Braverman, ERG (UKIP) Farage. Says it all really how this country has changed.
