Anybody had a copy of the newsletter? The business is now 8,500 acres apparently. How has it grown so quickly from what was 800 acres originally? Have they sold building land?
And don’t doubt the value of the wisdom oh no. We have several heroes like that about here. We are very luckyhttp://pxfarms.com/blog/
Reproduced here and it seems he's paid the Farmers Guide to share his wisdom with the public.
It is impressiveFamily used to be something to do with calour gas i believe so not short of a few quid.
Regardless he has built up a very impressive agri business with imo some very forward thinking.

Sorry I was just being stupidThis is no freebie!

Yeh that what we’re doing at rye house, camgrain have organised it.I did a 3hr race once at Buckmore park, it was absolutely brilliant, pit stops etc, we came 4th out of about 40 entries, we had 4 drivers I think, the teams above us had 3, except the one of them who drove the 3hrs on his own!
Should do it again.

We should do an TFF one.
He has just taken on 2000 acres near me on FBT. Outbid everybody else, and didn't want any buildings as he carts it all home on his lorries.
Rumour has it he's gone into potatoes in a big way, but I've no evidence - it could be just rumour.
Another rumour is that he wants to farm 25,000 acres within a few years.
