Anybody had a copy of the newsletter? The business is now 8,500 acres apparently. How has it grown so quickly from what was 800 acres originally? Have they sold building land?

I think it’s very impressive and professional, although don’t know much more than what you can see at face value.
I am doing an endurance go kart race tomorrow and He has a team so will be able to quiz then.

I did a 3hr race once at Buckmore park, it was absolutely brilliant, pit stops etc, we came 4th out of about 40 entries, we had 4 drivers I think, the teams above us had 3, except the one of them who drove the 3hrs on his own!

Should do it again.

Yes!

Do as few pitstops as you can, we didn’t all know each other before the race and treated it as a laugh with 2 stints each. If we’d known we could all post competitive times we could have done one stint each and challenged for 3rd. Though that does mean the guy who goes first gets bored!

He has just taken on 2000 acres near me on FBT. Outbid everybody else, and didn't want any buildings as he carts it all home on his lorries.
Rumour has it he's gone into potatoes in a big way, but I've no evidence - it could be just rumour.
Another rumour is that he wants to farm 25,000 acres within a few years.
As with many such businesses, what you see on the surface doesn't always tell the true story.
