Is that true if you have a150mm chain on, or does trench width not make much difference?
we narrow it up so it only dig 100mm wide when using 80mm pipe ,125mm to 150mm wide when using 100mm pipe ,220mm plus when using 160mm pipe depending on soil type eg if its sticky going you need to be a bit wider and then I have had to throw pails of water down beside the pipelayer as if its sticky it will ride the pipelayer up so you end up with a high in your trench bottom but then any trencher will do this big or small ive found perhaps I'm different from other contractors !!!!!!!!!!

Purli R,
Glad you like it !!!!
Needs about 50HP or above, digging widths 125mm - 200mm and digging depths 0 - 1000mm. Out put 100M/ph - 400M/ph depending on the digging conditions. Also you can have a short conveyor attachment so spoil can be did charged at the side of the trench. Depth control can be either laser or GPS as are all of our machines.
